When I made this introduction, I would use a photo of my family at Disney or just a photo of my family to draw attention to the post.

Show customers how you are packaging up their orders and talk about what makes you so excited to try the products. Better yet, try on the products and do a makeup tutorial!
    Bonus Tip: Do a little research about the products before you go live. Look the products up on your e-store and read the descriptions so you know what they DO!
  • Upload a video – If going LIVE makes you nervous, you can upload a video of yourself doing an unboxing. That way you can edit it before you post.
  • IG REELS or Tik TOK – Why not record a short fun video of you unboxing your products and put it to music? IG Reels and Tik Tok is super easy to use and allows you to record 60 seconds of content.
  • Upload to Youtube – when you are finished with your social media video, make sure to upload it to youtube and use appropriate keywords in the headline and description to attract more customers to you! You can even download a Facebook LIVE video after you have ended the live and upload it straight to Youtube. This will give you more exposure!

For me, I am always at the post office, church, the grocery store, kids sporting events, etc. All of these places offer opportunities for you to share your business with a new audience.

Here are some tips to always be ready to share your Avon business:

  • NEVER leave home without your brochures
  • pay attention to your surroundings
  • start conversations with people in line
  • View your connections as making new friends – NOT prospecting. Not every conversation leads to an immediate sale
  • Get follow up information EVERY time you leave a brochure. A brochure left without contact info is just like throwing it in the trash.

When you are talking to new people every day, make your primary goal to connect with them – not sell them. Get their contact info or try to get connected on social.

In some conversations, Avon will naturally come up. This is the perfect time to offer a book and get their contact info.

Here is what that might sound like:

I just became an Avon Rep. When is the last time you saw an Avon Catalog? Here take this – but wait, let me get your phone number! There’s a sweepstakes going on right now and you can enter to win $400 in products. I’m going to text you the link to enter.
